In our recent webinar, 7 Critical Success Factors for an Effective and Efficient Service Desk, we surveyed the audience of IT leaders and professionals to ask if they find it difficult to recruit, train, and retain the right service desk staff.

64% of Organizations Struggle to Recruit and Retain Service Desk Staff

Almost two thirds (64%), agreed that it is difficult to get good service desk agents to join and stay. 18% disagreed. A further 18% said they outsourced their service desk capabilities, meaning recruitment, training, and retention wasn't a direct issue for them.
